In Vilnius Skydiving club You can make Your first Tandem skydive (freefall jump from high (~3km) altitude with an instructor) or Static line jump (solo jump from about 1km without freefall).
At what age I can start jumping with parachute?
Applicants must be 14 years old. From 14 - to 18 years must have written parental permission with the telephone number of one of the parents.
What are the jumping days?
Jumping in our club are mostly on Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes on holidays. Instructing starts at 10 am, so you have to be there at 9.30.
How long instructing will take?
For the sqare canopies it lasts >2 hrs, for tandem - aprox 20 min. If the weather allows you`ll be going directly to the plain.
How long the whole procedure can take?
Skydiving depends very much from the weather conditions. Sometimes you have to wait until late evening, so be prepare to spend the whole day at the dropzone.
What should i wear, have with me at the dropzone?
Best way to dress is a long-sleeved jacket and long trousers, idealy training suit and comfortable sneakers. You would be given special jumping shoes if you decide to jump with the round canopy. If you wear bigger size than 46 - sorry, we couldnt help you. . Jewelerry, watches, etc leave at home. Bring your ID. Must be sober and free from any toxic or drugs! Shouldnt be jumping if you are not feeling well.
Can jump with my dissability?
It depends of a lot of things, sometimes it is possible to make a tandem jump. Please contact us.
